Wirksworth Festival 2008 01 - had a ball here in 07 - this time - the last time I ever came - It threw it down There was no one around to play to - and I had been given a lovely spot. I had to keep the drum skin dry so I didn't even attempt to play. I went instead to see my friend, the organiser of the event's music, who booked me -David Smith - at his house. He said to go and play at the top of his lane - overlooking the old quarries - and the whole town. The rain had stopped so up I went up to play. I suspect most of the town heard me - the limestone cliffs funnelling the sound the sound
